Should there be legal repercussions for cheating on your spouse who is in the military overseas?

Imagine having PTSD from a war, then coming back home to find out you've been betrayed... it's retarded that ppl be like "muh personal freedom" to call me a tyrant for wanting to make this illegal. People who have no empathy for people suffering one of the worst things you can suffer will just be like "it's a shitty thing, but we shouldn't seek justice for those people who got betrayed".

I think legally no. There should be more social shame for things like that as there used to be. When everyones as morally bankrupt as each other, the standard dissapears.

I've seen that happen a lot here as well, someone will talk about cheating on someone and people will pat them on the back and make excuses for them because they've also cheated on people. Then it re-enforces the attitude that we don't have responsibility and nothing is our fault.

@AgapeLove Lose a lot of respect for them/probably not deal with them anymore. I've called out friends i've known for a while on things like that, i'll always tell them it's fucked up.
Whether that changes a damn thing is debatable..

Maybe that's why, we treat promiscuity in our culture like it's normal and encourage oppurtunism. If you grow up around irresponsible amoral people then that's all you know.
