Do you believe a homeowner should be charged for murder if he or she uses lethal force on a home invader.

There have been cases where the family of a perpetrator will demand legal action against someone who injured or killed their family member who broke into the home in the first place.

Do think this makes any sense?

It makes zero sense that a home invader can sue you for injuring them or their family suing if you killed their family member. My state passed a law protecting property owners from legal retribution, either criminal charges or being sued in civil court if the police and district attorney find you were acting in good faith to protect yourself or your family/anyone else you have in your house/apartment from the perpetrator. Castle Doctrine.
