Why would he not kill himself - he was up against a wall and no light at the end of the tunnel - if anyone wanted to kill him, don't you think it would have been done prior to prison ? Come on - who kills someone in a federal pen...

@jackjjackson Skipping over the part where he was NOT a witness, but an accused, it would be a lot simpler just to end him there. There would simply be way too many loose ends if they tried to spirit him away alive. He would always be a threat.

@whowasthatmaskedman witness to what - anything hersey that comes out of this inmate will most likely be a lie anyway, what does he have to lose ? Anyway the best evidence is tangible things like documents and films and pictures if any.

@MarmeeMarch I concur. I simply see no reason to go to the trouble of keeping him alive in such an elaborate scheme. If it was decided that he should be silenced, then do it and get it over with.
