@MarmeeMarch According to people who spent time in the facility Epstein was being held at offing your self is so difficult as to be impossible. There are o bars. The ceiling is way to high to reach. You don't have any material to make a noose and yet at his last attempt he was said to have bruising around the neck. How does one get bruising around ones neck without something to cause the bruising?

@MarmeeMarch destroying a witness who can gain possible leniency by giving up the names of rich and powerful people. Who benefits by killing that witness?

@hippyjoe1955 So with all the video cameras they have in prisons and maybe records of when a door was open or closed dont mean anything ?

@MarmeeMarch Depends if the cameras are on or not. If the cameras are on they would have seen Epstein trying to commit suicide. One doesn't die in an instant.

@hippyjoe1955 I was not saying that - because he was not on suicide watch - and I dont know if they have cameras in cells for those NOT on suicide watch. I am talking about hallway cameras and watching who is entering his cell for example. And if the cameras were not on then that would be very suspicious. But even so - now that he is gone he cant tell all - BUT his evidence like what he owned might bring out suspects. They are up for grabs and as my esteemed colleague told me in a reply, it can be used.

@MarmeeMarch Agreed. We simply don't have enough information. That being said reading the comments on various news feeds seems to indicate that a vast majority of people don't think this was suicide. The information I see including the statement that he was taken off suicide watch 6 days after he allegedly attempted suicide makes one wonder.

@hippyjoe1955 Yea but they prob and they should have a documented process for putting people on watch and taking them off - I am sure they cant do it at their discretion it would leave too much out there as to why was he taken off - instead they can always say - well in 5 days he did not show any tendencies. This way their asses are covered. Personally speaking - I dont know why foul play would help anyone - all evidence is there and can and might be used to nab more. So it really doesn't matter. Anyway - this charge is something that he is most likely very guilty of and he knows that he will spend the rest of his life or the majority of his life in jail and become a registered sex offender - basically at that point your life is over anyway.

@MarmeeMarch Not really the case at all. Street people are kept 10 days in lockup if they are suspected of being suicidal. Only after the meds have kicked in and testing performed the person may be let out of the institute. An extremely high value prisoner such as Epstein would not be allowed off or suicide watch without orders from somewhere else.

@MarmeeMarch It would have to have been cleared by the prison shrink. The implication here is that the prison shrink was ordered by someone above him to release Epstein from suicide watch.

@hippyjoe1955 That's just it nobody can order an MD to change an order or put in an order - not even the POTUS - That would never happen in a million years. If an MD did that he would be in the cell next to Epstein / credentials revoked / license revoked / fine to pay.

@MarmeeMarch Actually there is and it happens more often than you think. We will find out in the future possibly/hopefully.
