When your strategy is enveloped by Identity Politics, you have to identify people by race and gender... (articles of prejudices)...

And you alienate an entire group of people, you’ve essentially created the vacuum needed for that group of people to want to unite and retaliate...

Will liberals accept their part in the creation of modern white nationalism with identity politics?

No political group ever admits to being culpable, on either side. That's a big part of why the chasm is ever-widening.
Not likely to your satisfaction.

I'm not sure how much of a real liberal I am at times, but I will give you that opposition to social change in the 60s has played a big part in how we got to where we are.

Personally, though, I think it's not that simple at all, and I'm actually not looking forward to the post Trump reaction (assuming of course he's not President for life), and then the reaction to that.

You're kidding, right? Striving for equal rights for all didn't create white supremacy.

@windinhishair no it’s not... trying to achieve equal rights through identity politics is...

Don’t confound the good here with what’s bad. Identity politics is making a mockery of equal rights.

@GardenSage I disagree that identifying a group that is not receiving equal rights or treatment is harmful. If you can't identify the problem, you cannot fix it. And giving it a name doesn't create white supremacists.

Still confounding the two? Is it on purpose??

You realize there’s a difference...@windinhishair
That makes about as much sense as saying feminism created nazism. Funny how the right keeps wanting to blame their own creations on everyone else. So much for personal responsibility.

Good luck with that happening 😂😂😂
