When I lived in West LA, there were a lot of illegal Irish immigrants, but no one complains about them, or the illegal Armenians or Chinese or really anyone other than the Latinos. So yeah, that's racism. Or bigotry.

@MarmeeMarch ICE (not "INS," that was abolished in the early 2000s when the Dept. of Homeland Security was created) isn't on anyone's "trail." Most illegal immigrants, especially the ones from Europe, Asia, and Africa, enter the country on legal visas which they overstay. It's not like people have to travel from the East Coast to LA by wagon train; if someone's flying in, they can go anywhere.
I've never been to NYC or Boston, but I'm sure there are a lot of illegal Irish there, too. Most illegal immigrants in LA are from Mexico and Central America, although there were a lot of Armenians, and Iranians (it's not called "Tehrangeles" for nothing). Of course, not all of these were illegal.
The population of illegal immigrants from Latin America has been stable since 2009. The fastest-growing group is the Chinese. But you cretins actually think a wall on the southern border will solve the problem. Mass deportations won't work, either. Even if you could deport a million people a year, it would take over ten years to clear them all out.
Just taking Trump seriously on this is a good indicator that the person is an idiot.
