It never was until Trump talked about it! Obama was shipping people out like fed ex and no one gave a damn! It's just the desperate dems playing the race card for votes!

@JT123 No one has a problem deporting illegal immigrants. It's the way they're being treated and the reasons they're being turned away people object to.
Mountainlady16 · 26-30, F
@Graylight a roof over their head, bed to sleep in and food sounds better than some our veterans and yes Democrats are complain about deportation and getting rid of daca
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Mountainlady16 Your blowing a dog whistle. The care they get isn't even comparable.
Mountainlady16 · 26-30, F
@Graylight yes because many veterans 1000s of them are in fact living on the street
JT123 · M
@Graylight They were treated the exact same way with the prior president and I didn't see the outcry then! BTW don't believe everything you see on TV. I know someone whose family member works at a Texas facility. He said the pictures on TV are pure lies and those people are treated better than our prisoners. There are zero cages also! FACT!
Graylight · 51-55, F
@JT123 You are quite simply, very demonstrably incorrect.
Mountainlady16 · 26-30, F
@Graylight they don't even deserve what they're getting. They deserve a one way ticket back to whatever shit hole country they come from
xRedx · M
@Graylight the reasons why they're being turned away is simply because they're breaking the law according to the laws passed by Congress. It isn't racist by any means and they are being treated fairly.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Mountainlady16 @xRedx "Treated fairly" doesn't mean locking families up after separating them for a misdemeanor offense.

Many vets are homeless due to addiction and mental illness and on disability. If you want to help vets, fortify mental health & substance abuse treatment and broaden assistance. All that welfare and food stamp cutting your side is in favor of? A lot of those recipients are vets.
xRedx · M
@Graylight they're locking them up because first: they are here illegally and can't be let out, second: Any citizen here that breaks the law and gets arrested who has kids will be separated as well. If you're driving with your child and are arrested for dwi, you will be separated. These are facts whether you agree with them or not.

No one forced them to come here illegally. No one is bringing them here then deporting them for you to say that.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@xRedx DWI is a felony traffic offense, not a misdemeanor. And no one takes the driver's children and losses them in another country.

Circumstances forced them to come here illegally. "Circumstances" cause the average driver to roll through a stop sign. What would you do to give your child a chance at a better life? Any life at all?
xRedx · M
@Graylight It doesn't matter if circumstances made them do that. It doesn't justify them breaking the law. If that's your view, then plenty of people who break the law should get a pass only because "circumstances" made them do that in the first place. We have laws passed by Congress that everyone that sets foot here needs to follow. Doesn't matter what skin color, nationality, race, etc. you are. Criminals are criminals and should be apprehended accordingly.
@xRedx BEST ANSWER! 👍️

@thedarkside thanks man, it's common sense and facts they are denying.
Mountainlady16 · 26-30, F
@Graylight circumstances doesn't matter squat they still broke the law. Maybe we need to make illegal immigrantion a felony. Which btw is only on first offense many these criminals have been deported multiple times and after 1st it become a felony
Mountainlady16 · 26-30, F
@Graylight and btw it's often found these children are not the biological child of the adult they are with
@JT123 Actually, many immigrant rights groups did complain about Obama’s policies.
