Well hang on, though I agree that religious indoctrination of children via homeschooling is wrong, to make a law singling out religious people by banning them from homeschooling their kids is also wrong. I'd be much more supportive of banning homeschooling outright; personally I've never met someone who has ever really benefited from homeschooling.

We homeschooled our daughter for her entire life until she went to college. She will be graduating in the class of 2020 and is about to be going on her second semester abroad. Technically, you've never met her, so I guess you're correct.

@daisymay Oh, I'm sure there are many successful people who have been homeschooled. I'm not advocating against homeschooling (though I definitely prefer the idea of public school), I'm just saying that I'd rather ban homeschooling outright than just ban religious people from homeschooling their kids.

If a religious family's child is being bullied, I think there should be exceptions to such a law. I would have to oppose it.

@SW-User for a child in such a situation the parent is more likely to be the bully.
