I think it's a problem wherever it exists. It had been pushed out of the limelight and perceived negatively in society until recent events have given it a new voice and media coverage. People who kept their racism closeted now feel emboldened to act and talk the way they want. That is a problem. I think most Americans are not racist, but sadly, the extremes get the attention.
