Egypt does it. I'm sure the UAE has accountants to figure that out.
I was thinking we would build it and charge the rolls. Kind of like the Panama Canal originally. @beckyromero

The UAE has looked into it. Initial costestimates back in 2008 were about $200 billion.

I suspect if tensions with Iran continue, they will take another look at it.

And the Saudis are considering building a 600 mile-long canal to the Arabia Sea.
They have less oil and less of a market. We don’t need it. @beckyromero
