Are you sitting for this? Texas governor signs 'Save Chick-fil-A' bill.

I thought this was a joke so naturally, I did my research. It's really not difficult to do, conservatives.

Yes, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed the so-called Save Chick-fil-A bill into law on Thursday.

Welcome to trump’s America, where the poor are maligned, Congresswomen are discriminated against, climate change is denied, and chicken sandwiches are protected. Good job! Be proud, Republicans.

The Republicans will literally go to painstaking efforts to save chicken consumable products faster than they will save kids in cages.

That's your pro-life party.

Enjoy your time at church today, conservatives.

:) The past few years have demonstrated that Chick-fil-A values stand head and shoulders above anything Democrat bosses have expressed.

The comparison over Chick-fil-A Vs Democrat values was initiated by Barrack Obama's go-fer, Rahm Emanuel, when as mayor, Emanuel tried to prevent Chick Fil-A from opening a restaurant in Chicago because he said they didn't represent Chicago values.

The idea that a political mayor would decide who could or couldn't open a business in his city, based on politics draws to light the decrepit values of the Democrat party. The idea that Democrat politics in Chicago and Illinois would hand Jussie Smallet a pass after Smallet played the Chicago police for fools and exposed the politics behind Democrat officials of justice leave me with the belief that I'd sooner vote for a chicken sandwich than than vote for a Democrat.

They are despicable hypocrites, for sure. “Chicago values”, that’s a good one! ”@Heartlander
@Heartlander I don't know. I think about an ethnic grocery, a lesbian bar, a mosque or a Buddhist meditation center trying to open in the red counties around me. A tech company for that matter. Would never happen. Sure would hate to think that politics would decide who could or couldn't open a business...

@CopperCicada I live in a very Republican community and there are all that you mention within a mile of me. Practically every strip mall has an ethnic grocery store or two, and probably a ethnic restaurant. An Asian market two blocks away has 100 varieties of rice, live jelly fish and an assortment of sea monsters to meet anyone's need for diversity. We are also routinely on those "best places to live in America" lists.

Seven miles to my east is one of those big-Democrat city with little to none of the above. It also has a murder rate almost as high as Chicago. While they do open their arms as a sanctuary for illegal/undocumented immigrants, they seem to attract few businesses or a diverse population.
@Heartlander America is a diverse place. That's not my experience in my corner of the Deep South.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Heartlander And 2 blocks is about the right distance, isnt it?? I am almost surprised that you didnt say some of your best friends were foreigners.
Different ethnic influences are not decorations for your community. They are part of it. And thats what makes it one of the best places to live. Those different Americans came to live with you because they wanted their families to have the best and were prepared to work for it.
Take another look at that big Democrat city. I am prepared to bet that migrants are not the problem there. Its the poverty.
@Heartlander Do you have a problem with legal immigrants as well?
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@whowasthatmaskedman

Foreign friends? I can do better than that. Half of my family are foreigners.

You are absolutely right! Migrants aren't the problem. But neither is poverty, Democrats are the problem.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Heartlander So, I guess these Democrats are easy to spot somehow..
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@whowasthatmaskedman No, not really. But you can usually tell by the mess they create. Chicago is a good example. Detroit. St Louis. i could name a dozen more. All once great American cities.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Heartlander So, they wear a Democrat uniform or a badge? Pray at a different Church? Or maybe not at all? I mean.. How do you KNOW for sure they are all Democrats??
Heartlander · 80-89, M
[CopperCicada]
Do you have a problem with legal immigrants as well?
God no, nor with illegals.I've lived along the border and blend well with Hispanic cultures. It's Democrats that are harming the US, not immigrants.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@whowasthatmaskedman
So, they wear a Democrat uniform or a badge?
Like I said, it's the mess they create.

I grew up in the deep south when and where Democrats controlled everything. Heck, a Republican party didn't even exist in my area. Democrats passed laws prohibiting blacks from attend schools of their choice, even at the college level. Democrats passed laws that prohibited Black Americans from attending most state universities. Democrats passed laws prohibiting race mixing in sports. In my town, a black person was prohibited from even using the rest room in town hall. The same town hall where Democrats controlled 100% of all government functions.

Democrats also prohibited blacks from voting and even after their right to vote was affirmed by the supreme court, Democrats devised intimidating voter test to confuse black people. When I registered to vote and had to take the test, I was told the answers to the test to make sure I wouldn't fall the test.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Heartlander Sounds like the Democrats Lincoln had to deal with
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@whowasthatmaskedman

Yep, they somehow got back into power after the civil war. It wasn't until the Eisenhower courts and his administration that the political forces in Washington finally said ENOUGH!

One of the last lynchings in my state (then) happened in the 1930s just 10 miles from where I grew up. It was never reported in the newspapers, so my awareness is from the old timers. Democrats then, as they do now, got away with a lot of bad stuff because the media functions as an extension of the Democrat party.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@Heartlander You do understand that the political parties switch spectrums in the late 1800's early 1900's right?

The Democrats of today are the Republicans of back then?

CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@Pherick
No, the Democrats of today have just found a much more effective way of monetizing their prejudices
Pherick · 41-45, M
@CookieLuvsBunny Ummm no. Its a fact the parties switched.
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@Pherick
No it isn't a fact. Liberals have found a very lucrative venture in taking advantage of the very people they claim to be helping
Pherick · 41-45, M
@CookieLuvsBunny So you denying there was a switch in the political parties? Interesting.
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@Pherick
There is a guy running for President under the banner of the Democratic Party that is the current mayor of South Bend, Indiana. Take a drive through South Bend sometime and see if you believe this big liberal is doing a great job
Pherick · 41-45, M
@CookieLuvsBunny Yes Pete Buttigieg is running for President, I am sure, like most larger towns that South Bend has its very nice areas and its not so nice areas.

Not sure how that is relevant to anything?
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@Pherick
It is relevant because he and his elk have destroyed entire towns like South Bend. South Bend is a hell-hole. Your dog poops and it smells better than South Bend. How the hell can a guy that can't even manage a little town even can think he could run a country is beyond belief
Pherick · 41-45, M
@CookieLuvsBunny I doubt South Bend is a hell-hole. However that being said, I am not sure how your obvious dislike of Democrats has anything to do with the parties switching about a 100 years ago.

https://www.chronicle.com/blognetwork/edgeofthewest/2010/05/20/when-and-to-an-extent-why-did-the-parties-switch-places/
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
@Pherick
The "switch" is that the Democrats build industries off of the disenfranchised now where, in the past, they just openly they didn't like them.
I doubt South Bend is a hell-hole.
I know you've never been there. Go there and walk around downtown and enjoy the ambiance
Pherick · 41-45, M
@CookieLuvsBunny No that's not what the switch is at all, I have posted two different resources for you to read and understand, get back to me when you have.
