What are your thoughts on Black Lives Matter?

Does Black Lives Matter benefit the black community and educate other communities? Or do you think they look the other way to serious issues such as the ever growing problem that is black on black crime?

I think the general group focuses too much on the big name cases while many of the little names get left in the dust. They aren't the first to do this of course, but if they changed this they would arguably gain many more supporters.
