(Trump’s agreement with North Korea wasn’t nearly as binding.)What people are [b]unaware[/b] of is that some of Iranian funds frozen during the last bout of sanctions was [b]unfrozen[/b]—that is to say, their own money was returned to them. @bijouxbroussard Your first sentence is fair enough, but I have two specific comments. First, Trump did not rescind the Iran agreement solely because Obama was involved. The Obama agreement was highly controversial and opposed by many experts on the grounds that , in the long run, it made it more likely that Iran would obtain nuclear weapons. The fact that Iran was honouring the agreement is rather beside the point, because it is less onerous than the Non-Proliferation Treaty to which Iran was previously subject and which the Obama agreement relaxed.

As to the Supreme Court choices I mean, simply, excellent lawyers. I don’t think it’s contested that they were the best candidates available from the shortlists.
