Can Trump win re-election if he stopped hateful speeches or Tweets?

Wouldn’t he be able to win simply by letting everyone know his greatest accomplishments?

strongbow...if you think he is doing this great then you should go look at Obamas final numbers also. Most of what he takes credit for was already heading the right direction before he got elected.

@strongbow Which of those do you feel has had the most favorable impact on you and your family? Please pick one.

A typical Trump supporter strongbow. 1. If you dont like the real facts you start calling names..btw..I am neither Rep or Dem. I use my own brain to make decisions. 2. What happened before Trumps election does and has had an effect on Trumps numbers. 3. Give me examples of all his campaign promises he has kept.

@PTCdresser57 As two starters, he has rescinded Obama’s Iran nuclear agreement and appointed two (apparently excellent) conservative justices to the Supreme Court.

And therein lies your biggest problem

At least I can use my brain instead of taking a con mans word as truth everytime he opens his mouth or tweets bs.

@MartinII Do you mean the nuclear deal that Iran was adhering to? The one that diffused hostilities in the region which is now red hot? OK. And the Supreme Court justices? The ones that turned the court in to a political arm of the government?
Let me guess. You're a 'real american' who just LOVES the Constitution, right?
Too freaking much.

@strongbow Yes, a strong economy is awesome, so tell me how has it personally improved your lifestyle?

Were you one of the millions of homeless people and/or working poor and now have an opportunity to purchase a home?
MartinII · 70-79, M
@Ynotisay The question was,”give me examples of all the campaign promises he has kept”. And your guess is not very good. I’m a Brit.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@MartinII Funny thing is many Brits and even Aussies have a lot more political savvy about American politics than we do.

@SimplyTracie Kind of you to say so. Perhaps it’s easier to be dispassionate from a distance.

@strongbow Trump did what Obama didn't do, cut taxes and regulations.
@MartinII No, sometimes from a distance people can’t see the details and don’t understand the context. Trump rescinded the agreement with Iran that they were honoring, peacefully—solely because Obama was involved. (Trump’s agreement with North Korea wasn’t nearly as binding.)What people are unaware of is that some of Iranian funds frozen during the last bout of sanctions was unfrozen—that is to say, their own money was returned to them. But Trump’s racist rhetoric “trump’s” any fact. And the “excellent” conservative Supreme Court choices ? Only if you have no respect whatsoever for the reproductive rights of girls and women. 🙄

@bijouxbroussard Your first sentence is fair enough, but I have two specific comments. First, Trump did not rescind the Iran agreement solely because Obama was involved. The Obama agreement was highly controversial and opposed by many experts on the grounds that , in the long run, it made it more likely that Iran would obtain nuclear weapons. The fact that Iran was honouring the agreement is rather beside the point, because it is less onerous than the Non-Proliferation Treaty to which Iran was previously subject and which the Obama agreement relaxed.

As to the Supreme Court choices I mean, simply, excellent lawyers. I don’t think it’s contested that they were the best candidates available from the shortlists.
