Does white privilege exist?

Privilege is a very touchy subject. Some people say whites are privileged, some say just white males are privileged, some say that blacks are privileged, and some say it’s the rich that are privileged.

Normally I don’t chime in with my personal opinions but as a Norse Pagan I believe we it is up to us to determine pure success. Nobody is above or under one another.

We all benefit from unique privileges and standards if we know how to exploit them. Also, the concept of privileges arises from coveting and comparing two distinct positions. Some things just aren’t comparable... I’ll never know what it’s like to have men buy drinks for me just because I’m pretty or for people to automatically think I’m cool just because I’m black.

@GardenSage beautifully said, friend. I feel everyone even individually has advantages and disadvantages depending the circumstance. A homeless man in NYC might have it better off than an indigenous tribesman in the Amazon but that tribesman also has some advantages.

But we should all be humble and not worry about other people’s up bringing nor should we assume and mention them.
