In Minnesota the city council decided to ban the pledge of allegiance from their council meetings.

Was this the right thing to do?

What are your thoughts on this matter?

Really getting sick of the Anti-American bullshit! This is your country, love it or get the fuck out!

@BiDaddy I must say that I'm tired of it too.
I am sons of the American revolution.....move me@BiDaddy
@Texasgurl and what is the goal of ur revolution?
My ancestors fought in the revolutionary war in Virginia. My family has been here a long time.

We didn’t like Kings then. I don’t like oaths now.

I love my country. My country comes before any party or elected officials.

No one should be telling anyone to love it or leave it.

Don’t get caught in the indoctrination trap.

@BiDaddy
@Texasgurl if you're a real American u will honor America's customs and traditions
Who wrote the pledge ?@BiDaddy
@Texasgurl Francis Bellamy
Do you know anything else about mr Bellamy?@BiDaddy
@Texasgurl he was a Christian Socialist Minister and God wasn't originally included in the pledge and was added later, what's ur point?
I did have one here..hmmm..but you made it for me.

The Christian Socialism connection.
E pluribus unum comes to mind as well.

Nice chatting, I will let you figure the rest out
