What are the chances of Boris Johnson making a successful prime minister?

Wraithorn · 51-55, M Best Comment
Lol. I love that gif.
You know, I live in a 3rd world country so I sort of expect the candidates for presidency to be corrupt, incompetent liars.
But then I see the same thing in MANY 1st world countries. The above Bojo is an example.

After wondering "WTF ?!?" For a long time I have reached a tentative conclusion. Dudes like Bojo are manipulated into power by people who hold the real power behind the scenes. In return they must do what makes those kingmakers even more money.
The man on the street is becoming more irrelevant except when he/she needs to be lied to at voting time.

@Wraithorn it’s true. Mysteriously funded lobby groups get people like Johnson into power, but Johnson will powerless without keeping the money happy. Or they’ll flip over, demonise him and endorse their next stooge

BA ? What an unexpected surprise. Thanks.

Slim to zero. I don't expect he'll last long. The only unknowns are the amount of damage he will do by his fuck ups. No deal Brexit could be one.
TheQueenBree · 26-30, F
@Burnley123 hopefully he’ll fuck up and accidentally remain 😆

Economist Magazine said he “is all flaw and no character”. 😊
He might if he takes the Reagan approach and stays to the script and lets smarter people do the thinking for him. Plus in the end it even gave him plausible deniability when Iran Contra blew up in his face.

Define "Successful" I expect him to serve his purpose and deliver a No Deal Brexit, which will please the money people.

If a reality television game show host can win a national election, anything is possible.

I would honestly sooner have someone's cat or dog to be the next PM, than have this lying scarecrow windbag.

Just another crazy world leader with even more crazy hair....

I think it could be hilarious 🙅‍♂️

@SW-User if only it was happening to someone else’s country

@TheQueenBree lol! Well, it's not like there are many credible alternatives anyway. A shitshow is the only real guarantee.

Good chance he will be our next one.

@Psycho He is a mild Trump but we have Brexit and the American's don't so the stakes are higher.
