How is your government doing?
The purpose of our Federal Government, as found in the Preamble of the Constitution, is to "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity.".
Justice is defined by how rich and powerful you are and by your race and gender so it fails there.
Domestic tranquility: Not a lot of that. Farms failing, trade shut down. All the lies. Anti-abortion rhetoric but no funding for child care. No health care system. Roads falling apart.
Defense: Over achieving there. Focusing on the wrong things. Putting kids in cages but letting the elections get hacked by the Russians.
Promoting welfare: You're on your own.
Liberty? It's getting weaker every day.
