@NativeOregonian well. if you want to forgive that easily, that's your right. i don't think her apologies are sufficient. "i'm sorry" is meaningless without action.

@clooo Her apologies are sincere and has pledged to show through her actions as president.

@NativeOregonian if i can act in support of a cause as a private citizen, she should be able to do so as well. she doesn't need the power of the presidency first.

@clooo When you get some more decades of life experience, then maybe we will let you join the adult's table so you too can realize that the thoughts of youth are foolish.

@NativeOregonian there's really no need to be so rude. if my thoughts are so foolish, i'd be interested in hearing why you think so. not just a fallback on othering a person because of an uncontrollable characteristic of their being.

@clooo As a bisexual male to female Transgender, who has lived nearly fifty years, and has seen very insincere apologies during them, I can tell you matter of fact that Tulsi is in fact sincere, and your refusal to see this is extremely foolish.

my impression of her is that there isn't sincerity there. maybe i'm wrong. i hope i'm wrong. but i'm not foolish for being sceptical. can you seriously say that any member of the lgbtq+ community is foolish for being sceptical of people with homophobic pasts? really?

@clooo I have seen homophobic parents suddenly turn into pride parade participants after finding out their child is gay or lesbian, or Trans. Gabbard is bringing a lot of people that left the dem party to vote for shrump back to the dem party to want to vote for her in the primaries in hopes she gets the nomination, her mission to dismantle the military industrial complex and kick wall street out of DC is gaining a lot of followers.
