He is certainly the worst US president I can remember and I have vivid memories of his closest rival Jimmy Carter.

@hippyjoe1955 I don't mean this to be interrogatory but do you think you are remembering him as bad because he's recent and, if things were placed in historical context, perhaps he doesn't really rival Nixon as the worst ever?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@jomsim No I am basing it on observations. Carter was pretty evidently a bad president with the failures the US suffered under his presidency. Carter loved the US and was sincere in his efforts even though he was completely incompetent at what he was doing. Obama instigated race wars and economic turmoil and caused local economic depressions and recessions and tried to appease those who had sworn harm to the US. Obama was a much much worse president bordering on being evil. He even had his administration spying on American citizens and political opponents in ways that would make Nixon green with envy.

@hippyjoe1955 Do you accept that the way the news is reported changes over a period of decades and what you are witnessing with your observation is merely what is reported by those who like you to think the way they want you to think? Equally, both sides are now accusing each other of the same thing and the net result is that you choose a side and accuse the other of wrongdoing. I would urge anyone to challenge their own opinion and prove it without using "news". Or, better still, come to the middle ground and discuss opinion rather than peddle some else's rhetoric for them. Be your own person.

@jomsim The news was in favor of Obama but much more objective with Carter. The media was running interference for Obama shielding him from the results of his evils.

@hippyjoe1955 Do you know what? I actually agree with you. I think news has become less objective. Although I think it applies to all politicians, as opposed to just the ones we don't like.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@jomsim I don't like or dislike politicians. They are people. However some have bad policies that hurt people's lives. Obama was a step beyond that. He set out to destroy his opponents and almost succeeded.
