I think we all have a responsibility - to ourselves - to go to various news outlets to ascertain fact from fiction. Stop being so lazy. Would it be nice to be able to go to one news outlet and trust their reporting? Yes. However, many news outlets have found a way to make their money NOT by reporting the truth (which at times can be boring) but rather to feed our emotional/primitive lizard brains with hyperbole. For some it is much easier to accept hyperbole than to search for the truth - it's like eating fast food rather than cooking a well balanced meal.

Which may account for America's obesity problem.
