"The mainstream media consumer is inundated with a firehose of falsehoods to the point where he eventually gives up trying to separate fact from fiction. Out of sheer exhaustion he accepts the desired conclusion against his better instincts..."

I suppose sometimes that’s the case. Mostly I just feel disheartened. Everyone has an agenda, and everything can be spun to suit one. I just want facts. All of them. Good and bad. I don’t even know if it’s possible to find that anywhere as it seems people side with whatever source shares their agenda and call everything else fake news. I’m not sure there’s any such thing as real news anymore. 🤷‍♀️

@JustNik There's countless outlets out there that deliver fact based reporting. If people don't like that facts that's on them. I'd suggesting bookmarking the Associated Press wire service feed. It's hard news and EVERY piece they put out is vetted up, down and sideways.

@Ynotisay Reuters and the BBC too. It's really not that hard to find unadulterated news if you try.

@RodionRomanovitch You're right. They both do a good job.
