This Is A New One

Mursi, Egypt's first democratically elected President, collapsed in the courtroom, where he was about to give a statement, in his espionage trial. He was pronounced dead at the "hospital".

I guess Al Sissi is getting a bit lazy. His predecessors used to create more elaborate scenarios.

Prior to going back to Egypt, and into politics, Mursi, used to be a professor of engineering, at California State University, Fullerton.

So a yankee plant or military dictator. And people are shocked that the locals are not happy with Team America World Police. In a truly democratic system the official opposition would take over. But the second largest faction in Egypt were the communists and the US would put the Taliban in charge before they would let a truly revolutionary government to form. Got to keep the world safe for the fortune 500.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow The second largest faction, was the Islamists, followed by seculars, then communists. Decades of dictatorship, brought this on, but we still support the dictators.
@Northwest That depends on how you define "Islamist" which has become a MSM catch all.

Calling someone like Morsi an Islamist because of his affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood feels like equating Noam Chomsky with Antifa.

The second largest faction, was the Islamists

The Muslim Brotherhood, represents the largest voting block. The Islamists, are the second largest voting block.

Morsi's problem, is that he turned to authoritarianism, and that's something the military, in Egypt, has exclusivity on. When he said that he "ordered" the army, to do something, I realized his days were numbered.
