So Trump Says He May Not Defend NATO Allies Against a Russian Attack, But He'll Go to War With Iran to Keep Their Oil Needs Flowing?

Even China gets more oil from the Persian Gulf than we do.

AI don't like Trump or most American politicians come to think of it but there are plenty of legitimate reasons to question his fitness for leadership without fear mongering about imaginary Russian aggression.

Putin would like nothing better than to see NATO breakapart other than re-animating the U.S.S.R.

Since Russia has already invaded and occupied Crimea and is engaged in a war in Eastern Ukraine, it's not "imaginary."
@beckyromero More media cliches but not much in the way of facts.

The idea that he ha any interest in recreating the Soviet Union is frankly laughable from any logical analysis. It also hinges on taking a single portion of a sentence from an old speech out of context and praying nobody looks up the original quote.

And the invasion that only happened in the imaginary world of Western media coverage that required photoshopping Reuters and AP photos from 2008. And suggesting the resistance in Donbass is just a Russian plot proves yhat many including you don't understand the region, the culture or the history and is an insult to people who have been repeatedly attacked by nazi militias for not bowing to the sock puppets in Kiev. Even Vice news has done a complete 180 trying to explain how the nazis they said didn't exist are now a serious problem.

A Canadian researcher proved that the Western media version of the shootings on Maiden Square defies the laws of physics and would require bullets that can stop mid flight and reverse direction. And the same media pretends to this day that the Odessa Massacre never happened because it is politically inconvenient because it doesn't fit the narrative. But if Hillary Clinton says it is true it can't be wrong, right?

Putin said what Putin said.

You don't like what he said? Then take it up with him.
@beckyromero I know exactly what he said. Clearly you don't except for half a sentence Clinton has been misrepresenting for years.
@beckyromero if you bothered to actually read the speech it has nothing to do with the glory days of the soviet union. It speaks to the chaos that happened when a few leaders of a few republics arbitrarily declared the largest nation on earth defunct and walking off the job. Can you imagine what would happen if California and Texas governors arbitrarily disbanded the USA and the entire federal government went home?

Strategically and logically it makes no sense either.

I actually DID read the speech.

Included the part when Putin described the breakup of the Soviet Union as the greatest catastrophe of the 20th Century.

History Lesson:

Texas and California broke away from Mexico before becoming part of the United States.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were INDEPENDENT nations that were INVADED by the Soviet Union in September 1939 and incorporated into the U.S.S.R.
@beckyromero lol. Well you clearly ignored any part that didn't confirm your propaganda.

I am aware of that. I am trying to get you to see how chaotic having a couple of politicians arbitrarily disbanding such a massive country was. But I guess you can't feel empathy for the "other" you were taught to hate.

All of those countries were and largely are again fascist and sympathetic to nazism. They fought for the nazis along with Romania and Hungary but you conveniently left that out. The Baltic states are one of the only places in Europe where they have annual parades in honor of the Waffen SS and thanks to America so does Ukraine and the have sent delegates to the marches in the Baltics since 2014.

Something you also conveniently left out is unlike Russia the US actually invaded the Soviet Union and attempted to overthrow the government. Your stunt only works if the person you are debating doesn't understand history or current events.

Hate to break the news to you, but Romania and Hungary were never part of the U.S.S.R.

Ukraine was a free and independent nation after World War I until the civil war and intervention by the Red Army led to it being incorporated into the Soviet Union.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were INVADED by the Soviets and dismembered. So they actually didn't get a chance to fight against the Nazis.

Finally, the Soviet Union was EQUALLY guilty of invading Poland in September 1939.
unlike Russia the US actually invaded the Soviet Union
Not sure what that sentence is supposed to mean.

But, yes, the U.S. (and other Allied nations) sent troops to Russia during their civil war. Maybe the Ruskies shouldn't have signed a separate peace with the Kaiser.
