If Obama did such a stand up job during his eight year regime, why did Trump come out of obscurity to take over running the U.S.?

National debt is much higher under Trump. Trump has also done a very good job of escalating racial tensions.

@Sicarium Trump's tax cut greatly exacerbated the national debt, as did the increase in defense spending. Neither was paid for and Trump takes credit for it. Our grandkids will be paying for it with interest. Trump's unwillingness to condemn racial hatred in Charlottesville is well known. But hey--you can keep blaming leftists but I will just point to Trump's actions.
