Why marxism is demonized so much?

Because it’s based on an unattainable level of idealism that goes against our basest instincts as human beings. Even when there have been attempts to practice it, it still ends up falling way short of succeeding as a result of people competing over finite resources. I don’t think human beings will ever be capable of a Star Trek type of society where there are limitless shared resources that benefit everyone. It’s just not realistic, which is why it fails. Those failures have been catastrophic, which is why it’s demonized.

@SW-User which reminds me, for as utopian as the federation is, they still face threats that could very well remove them from existence and then where would that system be.
