@YukikoAmagi there is something about how many people alive descend from him too due to the number of wives and children he had. Not sure if that is true. But it amazes me that when his grandson (I think) died that they went home. They could have just gone on to the Atlantic coast
@SW-User [c=#359E00]no, i mean his direct royal descendant, example : his grandson Hulagu, he is Buddhist and his wife Christian, later Tekuder (Hulagu's son) convert into Muslim. Something like this happened in Mongol Empire royal line[/c]

@YukikoAmagi I see. He was however a brutal man in how he fought campaigns and took cities etc.
@SW-User [c=#359E00]the thing is the war was at middle age, not in this day and age where war regulated by laws. Then not only the Mongolian, every Empire have their own way of cruelty[/c]

@YukikoAmagi I do not disagree but he had a habit if a city didn't surrender he would kill everyone including old, young etc.
@SW-User [c=#359E00]as far as i know how the Mongol and Chinese waging war, they will send employ to the ruler of a city to demand surrender and their life will be spared, if they insist to fight then there will be no mercy. Exception is punitive expedition where they won't sent employ and actually seek for destruction[/c]

@YukikoAmagi he had a signal based on the colour of his tent I believe. If it went red the city surrounded knew there would be no mercy.
