Who else was brought up a Christian, but now questions their spiritual journey?

I think you should believe in whatever you want, but don't use your religion to justify intolerance...

Why is it that the more religious someone purports to be, the more likely they are to interfere negatively in other people's lives?

This administration has really opened my eyes. They prefer condemnation to empathy.

Sure, this has been ongoing for centuries. The Holy Wars. Burning infidels and witches. The list is long and the deaths are many. Whose god wanted this? As with all criminal behavior, follow the money and you will find the god.

From the Inquisition to the GOP, religions are just excuses for people to band together, tell each other they are better than everyone else, and then persecute anyone they don't like. They are only interested in the dogma and control that comes from religion. They're definitely not interested in acting like Jesus, they just want an excuse to act like old testament God.

I never thought I would find the word "Christian" repulsive and dangerous.
But that is where I am now.

The far right hijacked, ate up and spit out Christianity. Christianity is dead, it’s just a hate group now.

At 21, I have checked out of religion. I just believe in being a good person and treating others as I would want to be treated (includes animals). Simple yet so hard for certain others.😔
