Do you think the will of the people are adequately represented in a democracy?

Or politicians are beholden to big donors who financed their campaign?

Forget them.. They are dead to me 😊😇

Of course not. In a large nation with millions of people it's incredibly difficult to actually get people to agree on things. For the national government to function, you have to channel everyone into a small number of parties or coalitions of parties, and give them the illusion of having participatory power in the system.

People are used every four years to legitimize the ruling elites.

Short answer, nope!

No, I don't think the will of the people is adequately reprsented in a representative democracy. Thus I think a direct democracy is much better.

i don't feel represented at all. i think that politicians all have their own agenda, be it big business, religious beliefs or racism.

I don't want or need to be repressented. I don't want to be lead anywhere by a leader.

The people are not properly represented at all. There isn't any true democracy in the world except maybe in Switserland. It's the reason I gave up on voting long ago!
