If Labour adopted a clear pro-remain position I would need to know that a conference, or committee or some other internal democratic process couldn't change it before it was implemented. It would need checking out with Momentum and other pressure groups as the leadership is clearly not able to lead without reference to the membership on matters of import. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, just unwieldy and not conducive to decisive government in moments of political crisis such as this.
If I was convinced it was real, I could be open to considering a vote in that direction once more.
