Yep, nice and quick like the Bush war with Iraq. You remember, the one that we were promised would cost $50 million and be done in a month or two. Oh wait, that didn't happen--we're still over there, and it cost several trillion.

War is a big deal. People die. A real president wouldn't provoke war with Iran. Let's hope we do not.

Just like the smooth sailing in and the liberation of Iraq and afganastan and Vietnam for examples?

Wars have local and geo political and cultural aspects far beyond the simplified strategy of bomb dropping

A fast war like in Afghanistan, where there are still U.S. troops fighting 18 years later?

And yes, a war with Iran would be a big deal, a very big deal.

P.S. How would you like it if another country bombed your city and your house?

War should always be a very last option. When war is made it's not the politicians who suffer.

Especially when the left is rooting for the other guys.
Then of course you got Russia to contend with too.
