Centrist Denocrats: would you vote for Bernie in the General Election?

If he wins the Primary or someone else who is not your first choice, would you vote for him ahead of you know who.

No.

I'd leave the presidential ballot spot blank before I'd vote for him (or Trump or Lizzy Warren, for that matter).

@beckyromero Ok, but surely you can't blame other people for doing the same? Also, I seem to remember you saying that Trump was a pawn of Putin and a collaborator.

Didn't some Bernie fans stay at home cost Hillary the Presidency? If you expect others to vote for their lesser-evil, then...

@Burnley123

If you didn't know by now, I'm a PUMA.

@beckyromero I've just read up about that. I guess you are the centrists centrist then. Obama as too left-wing? Wow
beckyromero · 36-40, F
@Burnley123

Left of center.

But I am a hawk on defense issues. That's primarily why Obama was unacceptable to me.

(As would be Sanders and Warren, who are also too far left on economic issues to my liking as well. And don't even get me started on President Bonespurs, who wants to break up NATO).

@beckyromero I don't think we will agree on the political spectrum here.

You never know. 🙂

I felt ObamaCare was unconstitutional because of the individual mandate provision.

However, I support a single-payer, Canadian-style health insurance system, which I believe would be constitutional. (Not Canada-light, which is what Sanders, Warren and others are backing.)
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@beckyromero so you are to the left of them on that issue lol
beckyromero · 36-40, F
@Burnley123

🙂

I would also make raising the minimum wage a major theme of a campaign, not the pie-in-the-sky free college proposal Lizzy is touting.

@Burnley123 Having the government handle something instead of private enterprise does SOUND leftist. Until you look at how crooked the system gets using the existing business and lobbyist network. Only then do you see that the lack of oversight and price gouging makes the Govt alternative cheaper and more efficient.

@beckyromero You do realise that I'm to the left of Bernie? I'm a leftist by european standards lol. I am a pragmatist strategically but I don't think we will agree on everything. Nice chat though.
