Socialism as a form of government is theft and murder.

No matter how the name is changed.

No matter where it has been attempted.

It's false promises are only levers to inflame class hatred.

Those who laud its plausibility as a system of government that actually do the checking on how it functions are liars.

Socialism is fascism dressed up as egalitarianism. And it's most ardent advocates are always the first ones executed for dissidence once it's taken its stranglehold on a country.

@SteelHands Guessing you don't like your tax return either? Socialism in concept is no more than the idea of workers have ownership over their work. Actually makes a lot of sense, I know what eats at me working for a big corporation American, is they pay pittance yet they profit?

But you like the words egalitarianism, execution.. and with your age I'm guessing just a little jaded. Wonder where that goes? So far it is people with health conditions that can't afford care?

@SteelHands not sure Scandinavia or other European countries would necessarily agree with you. Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland I'd class all those successful socialist countries.

You seem to be considering socialism only from the Marxist theory of a transition state to full communism

@SW-User jaded? perhaps, but with age comes wisdom, because we've seen it all, and what works and what doesn't..and no one likes paying taxes..but if the government was smaller, then perhaps the taxes would be too..as for working for big corporate America, no one is holding a gun to your head to work for them are they? If you want to better yourself and that of your family, stop relying on someone else and go get it yourself..all big corporations started with someone small and taking a chance on themselves and their dreams... Capitalism gives you that ability to do just that, socialism does not..

@SW-User Which isn't the definition of socialism. Ask someone who lived in that area of Europe when. A coworker of mine, his mom, only spoke Polish in Canada. He was surprised I knew what socialism actually meant. Many associate it with Communism, but I think in history when people look back if this is capitalism, helping almost no one but the bank, it's the same failed economy not seeing itself which is a form of fascism when some get to celebrate and have fortune.

Hint if you are going to say with age comes wisdom, display your age. @booboo Otherwise you are just displaying philosophy from the States I've heard before without any meaning.

@SW-User Typical nonsense arguments and ad hominem crap won't change the facts I wrote.

@SW-User Trade unions were once the dominant platform for the working class in the United States. That these as chartered mirrored EXACTLY what socialism is and rapidly died off in the private sector within 75 years because of how corrupt they became should be a warning to anyone.

Even if the ones *enjoyed* by the cops and teachers still infect the political landscape and the minds of the young.

By the way. The very first to go to the gulags will be the police and teachers.

@SteelHands Sorry you haven't chartered a way to find a world to live on that only agrees with you. And respectfully, if you are that are full of yourself, I decline conversation and using my right to block.

@SW-User I always display my age and don't know or care why this site keeps resetting my choices.

I'm 64.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@SW-User allow me to reassure you that your commentary on my reply is no longer asked, if it ever was.

And I'll be happy to ignore you until such time, if and when required, to throw you and your kind into the dustbin of history.

@SteelHands You do realize that you just whipped his ass and that running was his only option to attempt to save face don't you?

I think you could have saved words by simply saying that socialism is "Communism Light".
SW-User
@SteelHands Sorry you are jaded, a little swayed by your history, as some say, but I have very zero little interest in hearing insult
SW-User
@OwnerOfMany Since he doesn't understand what Communism, or socialism is... he couldn't. Now I bid you both adieu, have whatever complaints you have of me.
OwnerOfMany · 90-99, M
@SW-User No complaints...pity maybe...but no complaints. You are one of those people who can't be taught anything. Your mind is closed because you know everything. That is a sad state to be.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@OwnerOfMany Little uneducated inexperienced kids like to accuse those who aren't as ignorant as they are of not knowing anything.

Yet not one that I've ever spoken to has ever taught me a thing other than how unimportant people become when their minds become chained by tyrants.

This country will never become the place for their kind of thinking. I think we need to stop helping them. They're ungrateful and they're lazy.

@OwnerOfMany Nevermind and I bow out, reread facism and bullying.
