Usually Muslim terrorists target America, Europe, Israel, India. What do the Muslim terrorists want to achieve in Sri Lanka?

I know there's been a civil war of sorts going on there for a long time so maybe these home grown terrorists are merely following in the footsteps of the broader terror movement.
