Is Trump responsible for increasing Islamaphobia?

His tweet about Ilhan Omar disengenuously implied that she was minimising the 9/11 tragedy.

Her speech (if you see it in full) was making the point that Muslims should not be judged - as an entire people - by the actions of terrorists. It's heavily ironic that the Trump retweet underlines Omar's point perfectly.

Since then, Omar has received an increase in the number of death threats she's received. Note I said 'increase' because she's received plenty already for the crime if being a female Muslim leftists who is outspoken.

Death threats on the Internet might be perceived as crazed tirades by a bunch of saddos but then what were the words of the Christchurch shooter? The rhetoric of politicians pushes the bar a little further and its pushed further still by 'edgy' online posters until...

Obviously Donald Trump cannot be held directly responsible for political violence because he doesn't directly advocate it. Well, he sometimes says he'll pay the legal fees. However, he should still show responsibility for his rhetoric and the real world consequences that such words can bring. Though obviously the idea of Trump and responsibility enters the realm of science fiction.

She gave a 20 minute speech, the week following the massacre in New Zealand, The main objective of that speech was to tell Muslims to stand up for themselves and not allow acts of terror and discrimination take them down.

Her 9/11 comment was not only taken out of context, but it was also in translation, as in from Yemeni to English, considering the crowd she was addressing. At the same time she was giving the speech, there was a crowd outside the room, shouting anti-Islam slogans.

What happened next, is that an Australian Saudi-financed Imam, who has a boner for CAIR, got the speech, and kicked off a social media campaign, using only a carefully edited version of the speech, and then focusing on a single partial sentence.

The Saudis hate Omar and CAIRE, because they both campaign against the Saudi dictatorship, and how it treats women and anyone who does not follow the Saudi brand of Sunni Islam. You know, the 17 hijackers, who committed 9/11.

A few weeks later, it finally made it to Murdoch, and the next morning it was on the NY Post and Fox. Tump does not know how to read full sentences, so he relied on Fox, had people produce a doctored up hate video, and pushed to the top of his Twitter feed. He finally took it down yesterday, but word is that Twitter was planning oh removing it, because it violates its TOS.

Trump's intent is transparent. He's an Islamophobe. He is working on a secret peace plan, and needs Saudi Arabia, not only to finance it. It includes some economic components, like money to countries like Lebanon, Syria and Egypt, to give citizenship to Palestinians living within their territories, empty out the West Bank, and make the Golan and the West Bank permanent part of Israel.

But, I digress. All of a sudden, as Trump's tweet, and the NY Post cover page went public a few days ago, no one checked what this was about, and it's treated as if it's something that just happened, and not something that happened weeks ago, blowing up any chance of a proper context.
