But then in the hysteria after 9/11 the Bush administration repackaged Biden's bill, it passed overwhelmingly and the surveillance state was born. @jackjjackson But this shouldn't be a problem for liberals anyway.Long gone are the days when liberals were concerned about civil liberties and government surveillance of U.S. citizens. They want to hang Assange and Snowden high.

And of course they have no problem with the surveillance of Trump and his campaign and what was essentially an attempted coup by our intelligence behemoths
