AOC ignorance acceptable?

I see AOC and even Trump often being shalacked for their ignorance and sketchy math, but is that okay? All that matters is if you think they can surround themselves with knowledge. Wouldn’t you rather have someone you trust, even if not them two, then someone who’s a career politician who likely is owned by private interest?

I've got a problem with politicians that make ignorant statements, but it's deeper than what they know or don't know.

For example, do they or should they know they don't know what they're talking about?

And if so. why are they saying something that might be wrong?

These questions go to their judgment. reasoning and maybe even to their motivation, which they'd use to figure out whether they need advice and pick who to get it from.

Career politicians and corruption are different issues, but I think trust is the key, and I think political experience can be a positive thing and the lack of it is often overrated. A competent political hack for example, might be able to juggle the conflicts of interest better than an incompetent novice who can't manage conflicts or won't acknowledge them.

@Pussymechine Dwayne Johnson? I don't think I've ever even seen an interview.

He'd be nice to watch on TV though.
