Do you prefer railways trains or Apples? Democracy is a voting system. Not a political philosophy. Capitalism , like so many other things, is great in theory, until someone comes along and messes with a finely balanced system by introducing people into the mix. Greed, laziness and hunger for power screw up any system that is not properly regulated.

@Brianthesnail Totally agree. Communism doesnt allow for humans differing levels of ability , competitive nature and the desire for reward to match ability. Where Capitalism overlooks areas of community benefit, requiring a direct profit reward to undertake a project. This is exactly why a hybrid system with Socialist elements is the right compromise.
