It’s Gods will don’t you know!

@SW-User That's more or less precisely what Pompeo said (when talking about Trump)in Israel recently.

@RodionRomanovitch Yes. He said that God sent Trump to save the people of Israel.

@Northwest He only said that because he wants to be voted in by the right wing evangelicals when he stands for Congress in a few years or even as POTUS. Hey if Pence can overlook Trump being a depraved sexual predator, Pompeo can work miracles.

@HerKing Pompeo is the real deal. He's a true believer, just like Pence.

@Northwest What saddens me is that my dear old mother was a Christian; A faith that although I don't subscribe to, gave her comfort, she neither forced it on others or used it as a stick to beat others with. And she was very true to her faith, faithful to my dad. She would though not be hypocritical.

To imagine that Pence has pretty much thrown his values in the garbage under Trump.
@HerKing My grandmother was that type of Christian, too. I can’t remember her saying an unkind word about anyone. She wouldn’t recognize these folks. 🙁

Indeed so. Not the same people. It's shameful and embarrassing, though the Trump cult can't be embarrassed, they just trot out a new excuse or find a new shiny thing.

@HerKing I think a lot of so-called Christians, should read the NT and try to stick to it. Those who did are probably like your mom.
