Vote in about ten minutes.

286 - For
344 - Against. May loses vote.

Corbyn calls for an election.

All eyes now on Monday's vote for the Commons to take control of the Brexit process.

@MartinII I think the government has run out of choices. The Tory dissenters should have agreed with Labour to call a vote of no confidence in May once her deal had been rejected twice.

That would have sent a message of confidence to the EU and the money markets that at least Parliament was trying to sort the mess.

As it is, asking for more time to likely conclude the same result is not progress ! And every time they do that, another EU leave date approaches !

@Picklebobble2 Well maybe, but the administrative fact is that the only forms of Brexit that can possibly happen on the currently agreed timetable are the May deal (now presumably dead) or no deal (which May says she won’t countenance).

@MartinII We'll see what they have planned for Monday.

..........and on and on and on and on it goes!

@Picklebobble2 Blame Cameron or May.
I don't know who is more culpable.

@Picklebobble2 But the EU is adamantly opposed to a no deal exit - much more to the UK’s advantage than the EU’s.

@MartinII So they say, but then they only have to worry about the forthcoming EU elections and any other country considering doing the same as the UK.
