Never allow them in your home. Have a lawyer and a recorder on hand at all times.

@MasterLee I've heard that not letting people from CPS into the home is a massive problem, at least for kids that are actually at risk. If you aren't harming anyone, there's likely not going to be a problem. If you refuse, they might have to get a warrant to go in anyways and check out the living situation.
If it was me, I'd probably just let them in to check things out and clear you. So they can focus time and resources on kids that may actually need help.

@SW-User no. They go after people who do not fight. They want to take your kids to get paid more. Trench warfare will keep your kids.

@morrgin Social workers can't interrogate children without consent from the parent, at least in the U.S.
You'd have to get a cop to do it, and even then, that child has to be a witness or victim of a crime, if they're not, they'll have to probably ask for permission.

@SW-User "As part of the investigation, your child will be interviewed separately from the person alleged to have abused your child. Your child may be interviewed at school. Parental consent is not required for DCS to interview a child. After the initial interview, DCS may determine that the child might need a more in-depth interview, known as a forensic interview. These interviews are normally completed at Child Advocacy Centers."

@SW-User I've heard that suggestion as well and it makes sense too.
