Socialism has no place in America.

Socialists in the U.S. use Venezuela as a prime example of the perfect utopia and it's now a socialist failed state and it costs 600 U.S. dollars to buy ketchup and now allies itself with all of our worst enemies.

That alone should be enough of a reason why Socialism should never be implemented here in America.

I haven't heard or read of any American socialist holding Venezuela up as a model of governance.

Because Venezuela isnt socialist - It's a corrupt dictatorship.

Hugo Chavez was actually a classic populist, and had more in common with Trump than any socialist leaders.

But what doesn't make sense is your claim that American socialists heaped praise on the regime he and Maduro created. I can't find any proof for that anywhere.
