Cortez blames President Trump for New Zealand horror

I’m going to go out on a limb here and state that if anyone has the right to blame anyone for anything regarding this horror it is NZ citizens. @SW-User

@jackjjackson New Zealand citizens have rallied together, united, in a way Americans should envy, not make stupid comments about. I suggest you leave the political point scoring out of this one.

That’s exacrly what I did. I said only New Zealand citizens have the right to make judgments, etc sbout this horror. NO ONE in the US. should trying to make political hay. Sorry if my statement was in any way not clear. @whowasthatmaskedman

@jackjjackson I wonder if there is a message in this tragedy that is not exclusive to the citizens of New Zealand? Could it also bring awareness on such themes as discrimination, gun control, and, perhaps the effects of violence that is glorified in the popular media and entertainment? These issues, in my opinion, are part of the dark underbelly of Western culture.

For sure. I’m simply saying we shouldn’t use it for political gain or judge whatever NZ does or doesn’t do. NZ used it to immediately work on gun laws. I could be wrong but I don’t think there has been any change to US gun law in the 21st century? @annie616pop

Percentage wise the victims re the population are about the same. That’s the extent of the horror. Terrible. @SW-User
