I Like Politics

Lindsey Graham said on the senate floor yesterday. They should investigate everything every part of the 2016 elections and not just Donald Trump. Well guess what I agree and I’m happy Lindsey Graham is speaking out about it.

Me too. ANY corruption should be exposed and those who perpetuate corruption should be in prison for a very long time.

@SimplyTracie Obama on down.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 I totally agree and any government employee who commits a crime should be stripped of their benefits too. I don't care if he's been Prexy or the custodian.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie exactly. there is a growing mountain of evidence that the DOJ and FBI and likely the alphabet agencies were thoroughly corrupted by a succession of weak or corrupt presidents. Reagan tried but couldn't stop it. Hopefully Trump will make a greater dent in it.

Hopefully Trump will make a greater dent in it.
I pass on commenting on that. 😝
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie Typical of you. Kind of sad. Preferring the corruption because the one fighting it says nasty words.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 Okay, here it is. 🙄
Trump putting an end to corruption is akin to a pot calling the kettle black. 😝
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie Only in your mind.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 The word is not out yet. For starters, I'm willing to bet that he was involved in some unethical scheme at Trump University. And most currently is being investigated for violation of the emolument clause of the constitution.

The word is not out yet.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie You are making assumptions not based on evidence.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 The fact that Trump Ent had to pay a huge fine is a clear indication that there was some BS going on.
The emolument clause thing is my assertion but I think I am right. Let's wait for the courts decision on that one.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie I don't suppose you considered how corrupt the US DOJ is. Here is innocent little old Canada there are guys serving time for giving a guy a ride home. Once the guy got home he shot and killed 4 cops before killing himself. I have yet to figure out how giving someone a ride home is a jailable offence.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@hippyjoe1955 Sorry got called away and posted before I was done. However the point is Trump was not 'fined' his university had to refund the tuition it had collected. A bit of a buyer beware situation much more than a crime or emolument. The question is how much did Trump actually have in creating the curriculum and how much did he have to do with the setting of the tuition is unknown. My guess is he had the idea but hired people to do the work. Ultimately he is responsible but that really doesn't mean much when you consider the crap students are learning at other universities and the exorbitant fees they are paying. The present education is a scam.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
Okay, maybe he wasn’t fined but a penalty but it just so happens that Trump was a naughty con artist.

Lawsuits in federal court
Low v. Trump University, LLC
Settlement
On November 18, 2016 it was reported that Trump agreed to pay $25 million to settle the two class-action lawsuits and the New York suit. The settlement was reached ten days before the San Diego class action was scheduled to go to trial. Of the $25 million, $21 million will go to the participants in the class-action suits, $3 million will go to New Yorkers not covered by the class-action suits, and a penalty of up to $1 million will be assessed by the state of New York for running an unlicensed university

*sigh* Yeah, it matters what Trump promised students who paid Trump University in good faith only to be scammed.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie Not really. If he was a con man he would have been fined. He simply had to return the tuition fees. Huge difference.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 Okay fine. What about him and his children and the Trump Foundation? How about that?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie What about them?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955
“Them” served on the board of the Foundation.

hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie And you believe that? Wow. Here is something I would challenge you to do. google Mark Levin interviews Brandon Straka. Then google Brandon Straka the Great Awakening breaking the chains of the the democrat party. It is rather revealing.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 Yes I believe. Are you saying it’s fake news?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie Do some research. I gave you a starting point.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 I have all the facts I need. Maybe you should do more googling yourself.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie And all your facts are wrong. What does that say about you and your thinking?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 Ohhh why is my facts wrong. Fake News? Gotcha.

How do you know everything you read is the truth? Because Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani says it is?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@SimplyTracie You have been misled. Sad. You refuse to look at any alternative information equally sad.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@hippyjoe1955 Hahahah.
Alternative Facts? You’re not Kellyanne Conway. 😝

And I asked you not to call me ignorant. Please stop.
