I understand her logic, but how can the House not impeach a criminal traitor like Trump, but impeach Clinton for a hummer and Nixon for a cover-up of one crime?

@beckyromero Trump would never resign.

Probably not.
Nixon did, to his credit.
Trump would make the nation suffer, even if the writing was on the wall.

They aren't going to impeach him.
@Lostpoet I hope the House doesn't pull the trigger before it has a fix on its target.
We're still in a situation where 35% of the people are presumed by Republican Congress people to have voted to deconstruct the American State, and until they have evidence to the contrary, this could all go wrong for the country.

@Lostpoet the money , IMO, is even deal probably not that big of a deal directly. Mueller's operation has already netted more than it's cost and in terms of lost time in Congress, you have to factor in the time Democrats will spend on investigation even without impeachment and the effect on needed legislation.
As goofy as the whole will he contest an election thing sounds, I think in this case, it's partially right. The end game here needs to be minimizing the damage Trump can do to the country to protect himself, which I think the DOJ/Deep state already taking into account, as is Pelosi/Shumer and hopefully McConnell and people like Graham eventually.

His term's almost up anyway. The focus should be on who's trying to run against Trump.

She knows it could be a disaster for the dims.

I tend to agree that it could back-fired unless there were enough Republicans in the Senate that were willing to dump the Trump.
And there certainly aren't enough at this time.

Damn, I have to see this in context.

@beckyromero nice sound bite, but she's still saying unless and until there's enough for bipartisan agreement.
I think she's on target politically, if not legally or morally.
