@MarmeeMarch No.. An investigation. Witches got tried and died no matter what. Now I will be quick to say I dont like Trump . Going way back before his politics. And in my own mind I am sure he is guilty of a bunch of real crimes that never got looked at like this. Tax, bribery and money laundering related. As for impeachment. I dont give a damn. The system is so bent America probably deserves him. He may even be the wake up call you need. But if all this comes to nothing, Then he is still an @$$hole. Just an innocent @$$hole.

@MarmeeMarch Articles from Wikipedia and The New Yorker were too long for me to read the whole thing, but the main thing I read about in both cases social media and internet trolls. Russians paid for lots of pro-Trump and anti-Clinton ads. They also bought ads to trick blacks Into not voting (ads that said “avoid the lines, vote from home!”). Russian actors disguised themselves as people from their target’s community and messaged the target on Facebook persuading them to vote for Trump. Lots of anti-Clinton propaganda.

@JP1119 whats wrong with that - are blacks so stupid that they can be led by the nose so easily - I dont think so......

@MarmeeMarch Not all of them but enough of them. I don’t mean that blacks are dumber or more gullible than other races, I think that probably any race would have fallen for tricks like that at the same rate. Russians targeted blacks because blacks have a strong tendency to vote Democratic.

What’s not wrong with that? What good thing would an ad like that be trying to accomplish?

@JP1119 Its just tactics - dirty pool -but i dont see it as illegal unless it violates some election law that i am not aware of.

@MarmeeMarch If nothing else the Russians paid for it. I’m pretty sure we don’t knowingly allow foreign governments to buy ads in our elections.
