An honest question for Republicans.

I just read that most Republicans wouldn't support Donald Trump's impeachment even if Mueller proves he accepted Russian assistance or obstructed justice.

Is this true? Do you believe the end justifies the means, even if it involves cheating, lying or obstructing justice? Or actual treason...

I’m a Democrat, but fwiw I believe that yes, they would still support Trump for several reasons. In no particular order, conservatives believe that their leaders are always right as long as they’re being conservative. Also, lately they seem to think anything is justified if it’s necessary to defeat the Democrats. Notice how many of them still supported Roy Moore after he was caught doing sex things with minors. Similarly, in my home state of Missouri many still supported former Governor Eric Greitens after he was found to have cheated on his wife, stripped some woman naked and took pictures of her against her will and threatened to publish those photos if she told anyone. Remember how Trump said he could shoot a man on the street in broad daylight and not lose any supporters? Yeah, he wasn’t kidding. That’s how Republicans roll these days.

Really, he was caught doing sex things with minors?
I wasn't aware of that!

@GJOFJ3 He did it when they were teenagers and he was in his 20s and 30s. I think the justification was it's normal in AL.

@HerKing I was questioning your "caught". He was accused just days before the election, not charged, not convicted, not "CAUGHT".
