An honest question for Republicans.

I just read that most Republicans wouldn't support Donald Trump's impeachment even if Mueller proves he accepted Russian assistance or obstructed justice.

Is this true? Do you believe the end justifies the means, even if it involves cheating, lying or obstructing justice? Or actual treason...

Here is the most telling findings to me from the article
"For Americans overall, those figures were 46 percent supported impeachment of accepting assistance (31 percent opposed), while 47 percent supported impeachment for obstruction (31 percent opposed)"
I believe the reason for this is an inherent distrust of Mueller and his investigation.
@GJOFJ3 I may have missed it but what is your point that no one believes what Mueller is finding? In both cases you listed for impeachment nearly 1/2 of America favors him being impeached and only 31%--the same 31% that has been his core group all along--doesn't. Prior to the ongoing announcements of ever new indictments all along the way the ones that were against impeachment was in the 40 percentile range. he now has barely 31% against the idea. Doesn't look like mistrust of Mueller to me.

@anythingoes477 if they trusted the investigation that favorable number would be well above 50%. 35% believe he should be impeached just because they hate him.
@GJOFJ3 Still missing your point. It's now nearly 50% belief in Trumps guilt.... based just on the growing number of indictments. How would anyone believe in what Mueller has found out when what he's found out hasn't even been released yet?

By saying no one trusts in the findings I find that a baffling statement. How would they..... yet?
