I don't understand how making fun of others is a kind thing to do. I believe Trump is a bully. The reason I can't stand behind him is that he is not kind!

@Carazaa
I don't understand how making fun of others is a kind thing to do.
I don't recall suggesting that making fun of others is a kind thing to do.
Trump is a bully
I disagree. Trump pushes back - that's what's new. When media and dems said negative things about Bush for example, Bush rarely if ever said anything about it. Trump does! And, since the media is no longer a news reporter but instead has morphed into the democrat propaganda machine, Trump tweets a lot. And, he keeps his base fired up with his rallys.

Some people just don;t like Trumps demeanor - I get that. But, I think his supporters like that he fights back. He gives them all a voice that's otherwise not heard.

@Budwick I respect other people's views but I don't think he is doing what Jesus wants us to do, be humble and kind.

@Carazaa And, sometimes something more is required -
Read the WHOLE passage. [I could have started the quote at 10 - but that would have been deceitful]

Titus 1:7-14

7 Since an overseer manages God’s household, he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. 8 Rather, he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. 9 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. 10 For there are many rebellious people, full of meaningless talk and deception, especially those of the circumcision group. 11 They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach—and that for the sake of dishonest gain. 12 One of Crete’s own prophets has said it: “Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.” 13 This saying is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith 14 and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the merely human commands of those who reject the truth.

@Budwick "Gods household"...it says, that is what I do to my grown kids, or a Christian who is not loving. Jesus wants us to be the light of the world, the salt of the earth. People will know us by our love!

Jesus says "love your enemies, and pray for those who despitefully use you."

"When I was hungry you gave me food, when I was thirsty you gave me something to drink. When did I do that?, when you did it to the least of them, you did it for me"

He also said to many "You preached in my name and I will say "I never knew you" I think we are living in the last generation and we are under a test, are we loving or are we more concerned about ourselves. The world is not in a good place we need to take them in. The most disgusting thing I have ever seen is hungry people being turned away. I help anyone with open arms, who asks of me.

@Carazaa Yup - we could trade scripture verses both ways all day. I understand your POV. I'm simply not as passive I guess.
I think we are living in the last generation and we are under a test
Interesting, but not Biblical. Our whole life is like an on going test. I won't be quoting scriptures at the pearly gates. I'm either in The Book of Life or I'm not. Not because of 'my work', but because of my belief in Jesus Christ, my Savior.

My 2 cents.

@Budwick Jesus says, "These are those who love me, those who keep my commandments."

When I was a child and my grandma was reading me Mathew 24 she said "when these things happen, know that you will see his coming in the sky." They were not happening then. These are things in St Mathew, Daniel, and Ezekiel, There were no knowledge like today, no travel like today, no Great earthquakes like today, no floods like today, no selfishness like today, no false churches like today. And no terrors like today. Jesus said "This is the generation" that will see his coming.

@Carazaa Carazza - I'm certainly not gonna disagree - events look, smell and act a lot like end times descriptions. I would not be at all surprised at the 2nd Coming - [well, that's not entirely accurate, I mean, come on, Jesus returning, even CNN couldn't skip THAT STORY!]

But, we're told too that no one knows when this gonna happen. We can expect it at anytime, like a thief in the night.
