Nike and Gillette had marketing campaigns,,,

... based on annoying right-wing people into ineffective internet rage which ironically helps sell their products. They want you to re-tweet that pic of burning shoes because [i]that[/i] is actually the advertising. Nike's value went up by 6 billion because of their Colin Kaepernick ad but most of the value has been added by the controversy.

@curiosi But this is my point. How do you advertise your product when everything has been done before? Get people talking about it. Every time you say you hate Gillette, you mention Gillette.

@Burnley123 You're right. There is a car salesman around here that my family knows. My Aunt was bold enough to tell him she didn't like his commercials as they were annoying. He responded "Good that's the point, now you remember them".
