When it’s an underhanded way of flouting Congress approval. The mark of a dictator.

@bijouxbroussard Sort of like Obama with his pen and phone? On immigration, Obama said himself he doesn't have the authority, but did it anyway. I remember how outraged you were about that.
@GunSmoke9 What are you babbling about now ? With Obama the government was shut down over healthcare, which we need a lot more than a wall. And Trump complained about it—remember ?
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard I'm talking about Obama changing immigration laws. Where the courts ruled against him. Forgot?
daisymay · 51-55, T
@GunSmoke9 And then he immediately turned around and declared a national emergency to get his way? Gee, your orange IS an apple, after all!

🙄
@GunSmoke9 And Obama announced he was shutting down the government ? When ? He declared a national emergency ? When ? No, I don’t remember him doing all that.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@daisymay Are you a constitutional lawyer? If he's breaking the constitution, then I will be against him doing it.
daisymay · 51-55, T
@GunSmoke9 Deflection noted.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard Obama went around congress and admitted he was wrong, did it anyway.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@daisymay What deflection?
@GunSmoke9 Do you think Trump will ever admit he’s wrong ? Or will he keep holding rallies specifically to blame others ? After lying to the American people about nonpartisanship, that is.
daisymay · 51-55, T
@GunSmoke9 Did Obama declare a national emergency to get his way or not? You deflected that question (as you know) and are being disingenuous about it now. Sad.

I miss conservatives that actually had principles.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@daisymay Obama did declare an emergency. I was talking about what the constitution says.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard I don't know. Will the press blame him for everything?
daisymay · 51-55, T
@GunSmoke9 He declared a national emergency about an immigration crisis? I'm afraid you'll have to provide a citation for that.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@daisymay I know what he did.
daisymay · 51-55, T
@GunSmoke9
I know what he did
Deflection noted.
@GunSmoke9 Trump blames him for everything, except anything positive he accomplished.Trump takes credit for that. And his racist supporters lap it up, as usual.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard Racist supporters, what else is new with you. Same old bullshit. Are blacks and Hispanics who support Trump also racist?
@GunSmoke9 They support white supremacy, because Trump is a white supremacist.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard So ALL who voted for Trump are racist? So blacks and Hispanics that support Trump are white supremacist?
@GunSmoke9 No, some now realize they made a mistake. But for those who have seen the things he’s done, actually listened to his rhetoric, and still support him, there’s no other possible explanation.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard What racist policies? Is it racist that Trump doesn't want blacks competing with illegals for jobs, tax dollars? The democrats don't seem to mind.
@GunSmoke9 Trump doesn’t care about that. He made a point of getting rid of as many affirmative action policies and scholarships as he quietly could.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard Affirmative action is a racist policy. Whether he really cares or not is not the point. Keeping out illegals helps all Americans, even blacks and legal Hispanics. It's the democrats that want Americans to complete with illegals for jobs.
@GunSmoke9 It’s not racist, otherwise white women would not have been included. It was meant as redress to hundreds of years of legal racist and sexist policies in the US. And if Trump wasn’t a racist he’d have left it alone. And his concerns are less about illegal immigrants—he’s hired several, mostly from European countries. His own wife’s papers were initially questionable—but again, she’s European, right ? I don’t care what you think, he’s a racist, always has been, always will be. Anyone who still supports him is either clueless about it (the kindest conclusion I can draw) or agrees with him. No other possibility. And some black people may be fooled by white supremacists claiming they’re protecting Americans, but they’ve never considered us “real” Americans—if they could deport us somewhere they would. They want to “make America white again”. They don’t even respect the Native people here, making excuses about them “only” having crossed over from Asia. 20,000 years ago is a better claim than the 1600s.
